    This research project includes 7 key research tracks that aim to advance the skills, collaboration, leadership, and governance of the health workforce.

    Research Tracks:

    • Innovation in Training: Introducing modern, evidence-based approaches that enhance the skills and performance of the health workforce across their career span, including upskilling and role adaptation.
    • Interprofessional Collaboration: Building a workforce culture where different health professions learn and work together effectively to improve care coordination, safety, and system performance.
    • Leadership and Management: Preparing healthcare professionals for leadership positions by developing system management, decision-making, and change leadership skills needed in senior roles.
    • Digital Learning: Using technology to deliver, track, and assess workforce education and skills development efficiently, enabling flexible access to training and professional growth.
    • Competency Education & Assessment: Designing and evaluating workforce training around defined competencies and milestones, ensuring healthcare professionals meet role requirements through fair and consistent assessment.
    • Equity and Inclusion: Ensuring fairness and diversity in workforce recruitment, retention, promotion, and training, addressing barriers to equal opportunity in roles, career progression, and representation.
    • SCFHS Governance and Management: Structures, policies, and processes that guide decision-making, accountability, and the effective oversight and operation of the SCFHS or internal systems.

    Please note research support will only be granted to projects that have obtained ethical approval from the Local Research Ethics Committee at the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
